Israel to make 60 more Palestinians homeless in the South Hebron Hills

Dear all,

this is the village I was in during my last CPT stint in September 2011.  I witnessed the aftermath of that demolition… As you can see from my earlier 2011 photos the village sits cheek by jowl next to the newer but illegal Israeli Jewish settlement of Carmel.

The question is readers what are you going to do about it?

You can support CPT, ICAHD, you could write to your local Israeli Embassy, but better still would be to hold a demonstration outside a local Israeli consulate or Embassy and bring attention to this with your own Governments.

This slow ethnic cleansing by trying to displace a people is …………. fill in your own words!

bustardseed:

According to Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli authorities notified seven families in the Palestinian village of Umm al Khair yesterday that their houses will be demolished because they lack Israeli-issued building permits. 60 people will be left homeless.

Who and why!

This blog is about a bloke living a life that our creator decided was meant for him, regardless of his own initial personal thoughts on whether he ACTUALLY wanted this adventurous life in the first place!!!

However over time I being the bloke I am realised if we are to live authentically as God wants us to, then we need to let go of our fears, have faith and live adventurously in the spirit.

I guess my mum knew what she was doing naming me….Christopher Daniel (Christ bearer - God is my Judge) ... it "only" took until my 39 year on this planet to listen to that quiet still voice of God though. Good job our loving creator is patient eh!

Now that I know this is what I am called to do, it does make life just a little easier. At least I don't need to worry about career choices in the near future!

This is a story about being a tiny incy-wincy cog in our creators great plan. So fasten your seat belts in the back there, and let us begin our journey together, some of those back roads are very bumpy and violent.
